August is upon us. It’s a month named in honor of Augustus — the first emperor of the Roman Empire. It’s also National Goat Cheese, Catfish, and Eye Exam month. It also hosts “Wiggle Your Toes Day” (the 6th), “Sneak Some Zucchini onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day” (the 8th), and “Middle Child’s Day (the 12th) and that’s just the first half of the month!
